Slice Bread into  1-inch thick slices

Mix the condensed milk, milk, vanilla and salt.  Beat the eggs.

Soak bread

Lift with slotted spoon or large fork to allow excess milk to drip off.

Coat in the egg and then let excess egg drip off 

place the coated bread in a shallow pan or casserole dish.

Heat to 330 F degrees. use a candy thermometer or handle of a wooden spoon to check if the oil bubbles around it.

Fill skillet or pot with oil.

Fry until they are golden brown and crispy. 

Remove with a slotted spoon, place on paper towel and set aside.
