Ingredients:

Polpettone:  Ground beef, Onion, Garlic cloves, Breadcrumbs, Parmesan Cheese, Eggs, Salt, black pepper, mozzarella cheese Breading and Sauce:   Breadcrumbs, Dried Oregano, salt, pepper, Olive Oil Spray, Marinara Tomato Sauce

Prep Ingredients: Dice the onion.  Mince the garlic.  Measure out the other ingredients.

Mix the beef with onion, garlic, 1 cup breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, and pepper.

Make 6 1-inch thick patties.

Place mozzarella cheese in the center of the patty, then fold the sides of the patty up around the cheese

Bread patties in the breadcrumbs, oregano, salt & pepper.  Place on an oiled sheet pan.  Spray with oil & bake.

Heat your favorite marinara tomato sauce, serve the polpettone in the sauce.
